Day 22: Nakhon Nayok Trip (Day 2)

Today was the second day of Nakhonnayok trip. We went to destination places that were not far from Jab’s home. The first destination was Ganesha park. There was a big elephant statue there. Unfortunately, it was quiet cloudy when we arrived there. We just walked around Ganesha park for a moment. After that, we continued our trip to the next destination, it was Magha Puja Memorial Buddhist park. There are approximately more than two thousand ancient Buddha statues which surround the biggest statue in the middle. All of them have gold color. Furthermore, it is also located in mountain range that more beautify the view. It is very beautiful Buddha statues temple. Then our trip today was closed with visiting a café. We bought some beverage and ice cream there.

In my personal opinion, Nakhonnayok trip is very amazing. We have visited some beautiful places for two days such as the dam, river, Buddhism temples, etc. We also learned many things from each other during the trip. For example, we shared and exchanged our culture, language, and religion so that we know how to respect each other. In addition, we have learned and tried to improve our English skill. We are all still a learner, we always enjoy to speak English when we are together, no matter the grammatical error is. And the most unforgettable moment is when Thai buddies learn how to pronounce ‘pray’, ‘play’, and ‘pay’ correctly from us (Indonesian squad). It was so difficult for Thai people to pronounce and differentiate the alphabet ‘r’ and ‘l’. We (Indonesian squad) teach them for one night until they are finally able to pronounce it correctly. 55555+ it was fun moment when we forced them to repeat the pronunciations many times.
The last but not least, I am so thankful to have Thai buddies like them (Banana, Jab, Toey, Kung, Fax, and Arm). They are the best buddies I ever had. They did not only take care of us very well, they also bring us to some destinations in Nakhonnayok. It did not take long time to make us close, those two days and two nights have already made us very close even like a family. No matter where we come from, our culture, our race, our language, and our religion are, we are all the same in the earth. We are all human. We are a family.
